We are actively seeking a Receptionist to join our Front Office Team
Haycock Manor Hotel is a beautiful hotel in Wansford, near Peterborough, and is currently undergoing a full and sympathetic refurbishment programme so it is exciting times! We are looking to expand our amazing team and would love to hear from candidates who feel they have the right experience, skills and ambitions to bring to the role of Receptionist and Reservationist.
Role Responsibilities - lots to do, but lots of fun!
- Reporting to the Reception Manager working as part of an energetic and busy team, you will be responsible for that crucial first impression which every guest receives
- Maintaining and delivering extremely high standards of customer service
- Keeping the front office organized, efficient and running smoothly
- Selling the hotel to potential guests over various communication channels, ensuring the customer experience is first class from first contact
- Ensuring that guest data is processed correctly and accurately, being mindful of our data processing responsibilities
- You will be working on varying shift patterns including mornings, evenings & weekends.
- Continually suggesting and developing ways of increasing our quality of service and never standing still!
Are you right for us? - the ideal person
- Have a great telephone manner with a passion for service and exceeding guest expectations
- Experience with PMS software and booking systems would be ideal
- This position requires more than simply personality – you need to be someone who is a people person, someone who loves speaking and engaging with customers

- You will take great pride working in such an amazing establishment as the Haycock and this is something that you should convey to your team and our guests.
