Job description
Due to continued growth, we are seeking to appoint a receptionist to our team.
Purpose: Welcome guests, check guests in and out of the hotel, deal with guest queries, and provide prompt and professional guest service to meet guest needs and ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Requirements: to promote high standards of customer service and meet and greet all customers and guests. Have excellent knowledge of our drinks, cocktails, wines, and spirits and always represent the Anchor Bar in a positive light
Essential requirements
- Must have 5 G.C.S.E’s or equivalent grade C or above, and must include maths and English
- At least 1 years’ experience in a customer-facing role
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Attentiveness and patience with customers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Team spirit
- Flexibility to work in shift
Desirable but not essential
- Level 3 qualification in relevant discipline
The ideal candidate must be flexible, out-going, honest and with a strong focus on the delivery of excellent customer service and team-work
Availabily
We require candidates to be fully flexible to accomodate shift patterns that look like the below:
8.30am to 3pm / 3pm to 9pm
Must be available for morning shift/evening shift and weekend shifts.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-24 per week
Salary: £6.83-£10.00 per hour
