Hotel Reception Team Member - Chadderton - Part time - Up to £10.42 per hour

We are looking to recruit a Hotel Reception Team Member to join the team at the Boat and Horses in Chadderton.

As a Hotel Reception Team Member you will be the first face to greet our guests and give them a great impression of our amazing hotel. Dealing with our guests on a daily basis and supporting the Management team, you’ll be an expert in communication and know how to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet guests and visitors to the Hotel
• Manage face to face, on line and telephone bookings
• Check all reservations and room allocations
• Handle guest queries and requirements
• Check guests in and out of the Hotel
• Prepare restaurant reservations
• Maintain occupancy levels on the computer system
• Manage the computer system including room rates and changes
• Deal with customer requirements, complaints and service issues
• Handle cash and card payments
• Ensure a safe environment in which to work; report any hazard or maintenance defects immediately
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance

We have a large beer garden which overlooks the Rochdale Canal and the sunsets that we get are lovely. We also have 50 newly renovated bedrooms, so we have shifts to suit a wide variety of candidates. We also have a large open-plan kitchen and run off full main menu, as well as having a Carvery offering, everyday. We are open Mon-Fri, 7am to 11pm, Sat-Sun, 8am to Midnight.
