Caer Rhun Hall is opening in April 2023, we are now looking to recruit the best people for our opening team.
Caer Rhun nestled in the stunning Conwy countryside will open with 32 stunning bedrooms, cosy and relaxing lounge bar, breakfast room and great event spaces.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Operations Manager to join the opening team.
This is a crucial role for the business, and we are looking for a person who is passionate about standards and customer care.
The job:
The Hotel Operations Manager will be a senior member of the management team at the hotel. The role will involve achieving standards of service excellence throughout all departments at Caer Rhun.
Responsibilities will include motivating the hotel team, communicating effectively with all departments, leading the day to day hotel operation; ensuring all standards are met with keen attention to detail, you will be working alongside our General Manager to achieve the financial targets, maintain the health and safety of the operation alongside other administrative roles.
You will lead, train and develop the team to deliver service to the highest standards ensuring complete customers satisfaction.
You will be responsible for checking and monitoring departmental forecasts and rotas to ensure that they are in line with set budgets. An understanding of gross profit margins is also paramount.
Most of all, you will be passionate about delivering excellent service, maintain a positive attitude, share your enthusiasm and be hands on, inspirational leader.
Duty management will be part of your duties.
About you:
· You will ideally be a ‘hands on’ leader who has experience of working in hotels
· You will have a strong food and beverage background
· You will have a strong wedding and event background with the ability to deliver first class events
· You will be passionate and professional in your work, organised and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· You will be committed to delivering high standards.
· You will be a motivated team player with great leadership skills.
Due to the location of the hotel transport is essential.

Salary: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
