Atlas Hotels is hiring a Hotel Operations Manager right now at the Holiday Inn Express - Chingford

So what does a Hotel Operations Manager do?
- Providing a warm ‘Atlas welcome’ to guests and new employees will be at the heart of what you do
- You will be responsible in your site for delivering the Atlas purpose of creating a rewarding place to work and a great experience for our guests, supported by a Cluster Operations Manager who looks after between 4 and 7 hotels
- You’ll need to make sure your team are in the right place at the right time and you will take coaching and development of your team seriously
- You’ll be the person that your team look to when they need guidance, so you will need to be nurturing and cool under pressure
- You will be accountable for the day to day running of your hotel so you have a great opportunity to influence the hotel team’s success
- Responsible for the performance, development and retention of the hotel team
- Understand and role model the Atlas values, living our leadership behaviours
- Drive team performance through engaging communication of our vision, mission and values
- Develop and lead the hotel based engagement strategy
- Nurture a learning culture, coaching and developing others to success
- Undertake annual job check ins/objective setting with the hotel team
- Use fair and motivational reward and recognition practises
- Ensure that employees maintain a good work-life balance through effective rostering
- Challenge behaviour that is not in line with the Atlas values
What Experience do I need?
- Supervisory experience within hotels
- Achievement of set objectives
- Effective management of payroll budget
- Leading an operational team with various skills and specialisms
