The Marcliffe Hotel & Spa, one of Scotland's finest luxury and elegant five-star Scottish country retreats, has a new and exciting opportunity for a Night Porter.
With its warm ambiance and picturesque setting on the outskirts of the historic city of Aberdeen. The Marcliffe hosts 40 bedrooms, function suites ranging from 350 to smaller private dining and a fine dining restaurant. The hotel offers vast opportunities for clientele to enjoy some of Scotland's finest local delicacies in addition to activities such as world renowned golfing, fishing and famous whisky trails.
The Night Porter provides security and a friendly, efficient service to our guests. Ensuring that the guests service standards are delivered at all times and exceed their expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Look after hotel security and guest welfare at night.
- Conduct regular floor walks and security checks of fire exits and public areas.
- Reporting any irregularities to the Management Team.
- Assist in setting up and servicing event rooms.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all systems and procedures used within the hotel and department and to provide support as and when required.
- Knowledge of weekly business in the hotel.
- Assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties of your department.
- Ensure billing is accurate.
- Ensure all cash, safe and till procedures are carried out in line with hotel policy.
