Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide strong leadership to your team, guiding and supporting them in their daily tasks and professional development.
- Implementing a child-centered curriculum that promotes holistic development, individual growth, and school readiness.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all children, adhering to the highest health and safety standards.
- Foster open and effective communication with parents, ensuring they are regularly updated on their child's progress and well-being.
- Conduct regular observations and assessments to monitor children's development and identify areas for improvement.
- Keep accurate records and maintain detailed documentation on children's progress and any concerns.
- Work collaboratively with other room leaders and senior management to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning environment throughout the nursery.
What we need from you:
- A recognized early years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications (or willingness to obtain them).
