Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals as well as providing excellent face-to-face client care for our customers.
Roles and responsibilities include:
· Ensuring the cleanliness of the animal hotel is maintained to the highest standard.
· Taking guests for walks & cleaning of accommodation.
· Feeding and administering medication.
· Collecting & delivering guests.
· Dealing with the customers, answering the phone and handling money, including a card machine and online booking & invoicing.
· Keeping records of our guest’s care.
· Keeping social media up to date and dealing with customer requests.
· General maintenance work including painting and keeping the grounds tidy.
· This is a full time role and, due to the nature of our business, a day at the weekend is to be worked including Bank Holidays.
Qualifications required
· Level 3 animal related qualification.
· Must hold a valid UK driving license
· At least 12 months experience preferred working in an animal hotel or kennels

· The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

· Awareness of health and safety issues
· Good observational skills
· Good communication skills
· An interest in the care and welfare of dogs, cats and other small animals
· Experience of handling/looking after dogs, cats and other small animals
· Good IT skills, familiarity with Xero preferred

Pay – Dependent upon experience.
