Job description
We are a small independent 18th Century Hotel with Restaurant and Bar, located 5 miles outside of Swindon. We are looking for a Live-In Housekeeper for the day-to-day cleaning and running of the hotel to ensure our guests have a great experience.

Key Accountabilities
- To ensure that the day-to-day cleanliness of all areas; Bar, Restaurant, Guest Toilets, Rooms, Corridors, Terrace are maintained to a high level of presentation and standards.
- To clean and maintain all aspects of the guest rooms, ensuring they are prepared to a high standard in readiness for guest arrivals.
- To manage and operate the in-house and external laundry requirements.
- To use the online systems to verify room status, resolve room discrepancies, prioritise room cleaning and update status of departing guest rooms. Communicating changes to the team.
- Ability to lift, carry and move housekeeping and laundry items, cleaning supplies and objects around the hotel environment.
- Role requires reaching overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling, stooping and lifting.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28 per week
Salary: £8.00-£12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Swindon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
