Job description
We're looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to keep all public areas of our hotel clean and tidy, and willing to help with additional tasks as required. We are searching for an experienced professional who is capable of following hotel cleaning procedures, a person who is self-motivated, and enjoys helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment to clean guest rooms and public areas.
- Work in various environments, such as hotel rooms, hallways, restaurants, and lobbies.
- Communicate with guests and coworkers about the cleanliness of the rooms.
- Be an ambassador for the hotel; be able to make suggestions for improvement.
- Producing weekly rota’s, confirming staff hours for payroll and training new employees.
- Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of self and others; Participate in training sessions to learn more about cleaning techniques.
THIS POSITION IS NOT ADMINISTRATIVE OR OFFICE BASED. The Senior House Keeper as well as room checks will clean alongside with the rest of the House Keeping Department on a daily basis.
It is essential that the successful applicant is able to speak and read English and is both capable of taking and giving instruction in what is often a very time sensitive and high-pressure environment.

Salary: £10.50 per hour
