To meet the growth of the electric and hybrid vehicle market, the Agnew Group are investing over £3m for EV upgrades and charging stations including investing in rapid charging. As a retailer holding 20% of the total NI market, this investment supporting the electric and hybrid market will enable us to meet the needs of the customer demands in a growing sector.

In 2022 the Agnew Group invoiced and delivered over 18,000 combined new and used vehicles, and generated over £540m turnover, in challenging trading conditions that were subject to significant supply constraints and uncertainty.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Purpose of the Receptionist/ Host is to greet customers and visitors promptly, efficiently and professionally upon entrance to the showroom, and to provide hospitality where necessary.
  • Efficiently operate the company switchboard and keep an accurate record of all messages, ensuring they are passed on promptly to the appropriate person.
  • To initially meet and greet and customers or visitors, finding out the nature of the enquiry and introduction to a Sales Executive.
  • In the event where a Sales Executive is not available, it is the responsibility of the Receptionist/Host to “bridge the gap”, ensuring they are content to wait and providing them with relevant information.
  • To ensure the reception area and coffee dock are kept neat and tidy at all times.
  • To leave the showroom, particularly the reception area clean and tidy, switching off electrical appliances, showroom music etc.

Requirements

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a customer service environment.
  • Smart, professional appearance and courteous manner.
  • Good presentation skills i.e., well-presented and fully completed application form.
  • Ability to cope under pressure, managing large call volumes at peak times
