Host/Hostess Lechlade, England

Thyme
Full Time Lechlade, England 27500 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

We are seeking to appoint a charismatic and passionate Host to work within Thyme’s sophisticated flagship restaurant, The Ox Barn, within our luxury country estate. The role will also host guests within the Orchid House, our pool side resident-only space for guests to retreat.

At Thyme we are able to offer guaranteed hours of work, or a casual contract with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.

The Orchid House offers a light lunch menu for residents to enjoy in between bountiful breakfasts and indulgent dinners. The menu consists of nuts, olives, other small plates and salads as well as sorbets and ice creams. Drinks major on soft botanical juices and herbal teas, as well as rosé, cocktails and English sparkling.

About us

The Ox Barn offers carefully curated menus which tell a story of the farm and seasons. Under the direction of Charlie Hibbert, the chefs, and gardeners at Thyme work together to select and grow the fruits, vegetables and herbs used to create a modern British countryside fare. We are looking for someone with a passion for seasonal food, a refined sense of style, and a flair for entertaining to support the delivery our exceptional dishes with the first-class service they deserve.

Thyme is not a hotel: we have a hotel, a spa, a cookery school, restaurants, and a farm, we grow our vegetables, fruit & herbs, and we have nature at our heart.

Thyme is a restored historic Cotswold manor and farm. It is a family story where a passion for the land, food and entertaining, merges with a love of local heritage, beauty, nature, sustainability, and conservation.

We took time to make Thyme. Working with the historic buildings and the farm that surrounds them, we have created a thoughtful place with love and attention lavished on every detail.
