Host/Hostess – ATIK, Tamworth
REKOM UK are looking for a passionate Host/Hostess at ATIK, Tamworth.
Offering the ultimate nightlife experience, ATIK in Tamworth is a destination venue which customers return to time and time again. ATIK showcases the very best in light and sound technology and plays the biggest floor fillers with a regular line up of DJs. Retro fans fill the club’s Vinyl room with its illuminated dance floor, a must visit to enjoy guilty pleasures and pop classics! There are pre bookable booths which are served by a team of hostesses providing a high level of customer service. To further enhance our offering, we are on the look out for an outgoing, fun-loving, sociable character to join our team!

REKOM UK are looking for a Host/Hostess who will assist the Management Team by ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the operation whilst maintaining brand standards and values. To provide excellent guest service and help to increase sales revenue by providing a friendly, informative welcome to all guests.

· Offer an annual salary of up to £10, depending on experience;
· You will join the largest late-night operator in Denmark, Norway, Finland and the UK; and
· We will supply many support functions via our HUB office and senior management team.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
· To work as a member of the VIP team in a designated room area, covering specific booths, and providing help and assistance where required;
· Greet designated VIP guests and act as their main point of contact throughout the session;
· Collect the coats/jackets of the VIP guests and place securely in cloakroom, ensuring the guests receive their cloakroom tickets, and return the coats to them, at their request, before they leave;
· Ensure you check on your VIP guests periodically throughout the session;
· Upsell packages to your VIP guests wherever possible;
· Ensure the booths are clean and tidy, with clean menus, at all times;
· To successfully resolve guest complaints wherever possible referring unresolved complaints to the management team;
· Comply with displayed bar tariffs and any promotional offers applicable to each session;
· Ensure your workstation is not left unattended;
· Ensure that all areas are dry and clear of spillages or broken glass; and
· Public and staff areas should be kept clean.
· Maintain bar areas in line with operating standards;
· Serve drinks, as ordered providing quality guest service;
· Ensure good housekeeping standards are applied and deliver a safe environment through maintenance of the venue; and
· Complete all company Polaris training, including refresher courses, as and when required to do so.
All applicants must be well presented, professional, a good communicator with excellent overall operational standards. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
This is a part time role and permanent role that will see you working shift patterns that include evenings and weekends, so you must be flexible in terms of the hours required of you. This is by no means a 9 to 5 role and all applicants should take this into consideration. Our team love what they do! We have a passion for providing an experience second to none.
