We are currently seeking a warm, confident and well organised Breakfast Host to join our Strathearn Breakfast Team.

The shift pattern for this role would start between 7am and 8am until 1 or 2pm, working 24 hours per week, across 3 or 4 days a week.

The on target earning potential for this role is £12.97 / per hour - comprising a base hourly rate of £11.24, plus a qualified estimate of £1.73 per hour in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • You’ll deliver a warm and memorable welcome to all our hotel guests experiencing their Strathearn breakfast
  • Playing a significant part in making sure our breakfast operation runs without a hitch; managing queues efficiently and ensuring our guests are attend to
  • Skilled in restaurant reservations; you’ll forward plan table allocations, maximising the usage of the restaurant space and efficiency of service
  • You’ll be responsible for highlighting to the team on a daily basis VIP guests and any specific dietary requirements
  • Maintaining the highest standards of service, room preparation and presentation throughout breakfast service
  • You’ll take a keen interest in the operation and develop suggestions as to ways of increasing quality of service
  • Proficiently up selling and encouraging other team members to do the same at every opportunity
  • You’ll build excellent knowledge of the wider estate and the facilities available to our guests
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
