Do you have what it takes to be a part of our hospital security team? Assist Services Group are looking to recruit security professionals with excellent customer service and experience working within fast-paced environments. You will be working in the EC1A area in London. Main function of the role: You will be working alongside the inhouse security team. Your role may include building patrols, manning the entrances, lobby’s, bed watch, and static roles. You may be required to intervene in any unwelcoming situations within the hospital and use conflict resolution and physical intervention. Minimum Requirements: Valid Door Supervisor licence. Valid DBS. Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate. 1 years’ experience working within security and using conflict management. Proven experience working in past pace environments using conflict management and physical intervention. Professional & Personable. Immaculate presentation. Right to Work in the UK. 5-Year employment / educational history. Preferred Requirements (not essential): Proven experience working within NHS environments. Emergency First Aid Certificate. ACT training Certificate. Conflict management training. Be able to use two-way radio’s. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities & Duties: Reporting and supporting the in-house security management team. Able to follow instructions given from Hospital Security Managers. Managing queues and entrances, lobby, ward, car park around the Hospital. Assisting the public with enquiries and directions around the hospital and local area. Maintaining a safe and secure environment for the public, staff, and contractors. Visible, pro-active and vigilant security presence within the Hospital. May include A&E. Assist NHS staff. Ability to work within alone in and work under pressure. Conflict management skills are required to resolve any potential conflict situations that may occur to avoid physical intervention when possible. Able to use two-way radios. Ensure that all matters relating to the process of information are carried out in a prompt, efficient manner in line with service and legal requirements. Be trustworthy, compassionate, and motivated to support your team and help the public and NHS staff. Write detailed reports of activities and incidences that may occur on site and willing to speak to the police if required.
