Do you have what it takes to be a part of our hospital security team?

ASG are looking to recruit a security professional with excellent customer services and conflict management skills. You will be working in one of two of our NHS hospitals. Located in Westminister and White City.

Main function of the role: You will be working alongside the in-house security team. Your role may include manning the entrances, lobby, bed wards, car park, patrols, fire watch around the hospital.

Pay Rate:

£10.00 to £10.50 an hour

Shift Pattern:

4 on 4 off

12 hours a day

Day & Night shift available.

Shift Times:

07:00 to 19:00

19:00 to 07:00

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 Years’ experience working within security
  • A valid DS licence.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Professional & Personable.
  • Immaculate presentation.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • 5-Year employment / educational history.

Preferred Requirements (not essential):

  • Proven experience in patrols and conflict management.
  • Experience working within Hospital environments.
  • Maybo Training
  • Fire Watch
  • Bilingual
  • Emergency First Aid Certificate.
  • ACT training Certificate.
  • Conflict management training.
  • Be able to use two-way radio’s

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Reporting & supporting the in-house security management team.
  • Assisting the public with enquiries & directions around the hospital and local area.
  • Maintaining a safe & secure environment for the public, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Checking appointments & assisting NHS staff.
  • Visible, Pro-active & Vigilant security presence in reception, lobby, wards, and car park entrances, may include A&E however training will be provided if selected for A&E positions.
  • Patrolling the public & secure areas of the Hospital.
  • Managing conflict & undesirable behaviour in a professional manner.
  • Write detailed reports of activities & incidences that may occur on site.
  • Liaising with Head office & the Operations Team.
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the client & in house security team.
  • Use of two-way radios – reporting to site / client in-house team run control rooms.
  • Clear understanding of security risks & threats.

  • Clean pressed black suit
  • Black tie & socks
  • Clean pressed black trousers. No tracksuit / Jeans
  • Clean pressed black shoes / patrol boots. No trainers
  • Clean plain black coat. No large logo / bright colours

As a member of the security team, you will be required to undertake SIA licence training and vetting to BS7858.
