Do you have what it takes to join out Hospital security team?
We are looking for an officer who is confident, professional, personable, reliable, and friendly to work with our team supporting the NHS Hospital team. You will be working as part of a team alongside the in-house security team to maintain a visible security presence and assist with any security issues that may arise while working within the Hospital industry.
Pay Rate:
£10.00 an hour PAYE
Shift Pattern:
12 hours shifts
Shifts will be on a 4 on 4 off rotation
Shift Times:
07:00 to 19:00
10:00 to 22:00
Locations:
Westminister
London Bridge
Responsibilities & Duties (not exhaustive to):
- Reporting & supporting the in-house security management team.
- Assisting the public with enquiries and directions.
- Maintaining a safe & secure environment for the public, colleagues, and contractors.
- Checking appointments & assisting with directions.
- Visible, Pro-active & Vigilant security presence in reception, lobby, ward, and car-park entrances, may include A&E however training will be provided if selected for A&E position.
- Patrolling the public & secure areas of the Hospital.
- Managing conflict & undesirable behaviour in a professional manner.
- Write detailed reports of activities & incidences that may occur on site.
- Liaising with Head office & the Operations Team.
- Maintaining a good relationship with the client & in-house security team.
- Use of radios – reporting to site/ client run control room.
- Clear understanding of security risks & threats.
Requirements:
- Professional & Personable.
- Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
- Valid Door Supervisor SIA Licence
- Right to Work in the UK
- 5-Year Employment History
- Conflict Management Training
- Emergency First Aid
