Hospital Porter | Oaks Hospital | Full Time - 37.5 hours Per Week
Salary £20,444-£22,500 depending on experience
The Role
We are seeking to recruit a Hospital Porter to join our team at Oaks Hospital. This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours a week across 5 days Monday - Sunday + bank holidays when required (salary enhancements for unsocial hours). Please note, flexibility to work early and late shifts will be required.
Oaks Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England and provides care for a number of specialities. Oaks Hospital is a 39 bed facility the ward provides care to patients undergoing elective surgery as well as medical patients. We also have 18 ambulatory bays, 4 laminar flow Theatres and an Endoscopy Theatre, a physiotherapy department, modern diagnostic equipment including a static MRI scanner and a busy outpatient department. The successful candidate must also be able to commit to the shift patterns already functioning within the hospital including weekends. Enhancements are paid for unsocial hours and weekend working. Duties to include, but not limited to
  • Removal of waste
  • Linen stock replenishment
  • Obtaining supplies and equipment from local trust
  • General upkeep of building and grounds
  • Patient transporting
