Location – The Portland Hospital, Great Portland Street, London
Permanent, Full time, 40 hours/week. Monday – Sunday various shifts between 7:00 – 21:30. On the very rare occasion, you may be asked to cover a night shift (20:00 – 8:00)
Salary - £21,902.40 + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)
About the Role
There is an exciting opportunity for a Porter to join the Portland Hospital. This is a vital role in providing a portering/security service of the highest quality to all departments, staff, patients and visitors.
Responsibilities will include delivery/collection of mail, linen, drugs and other items as requested, assisting patients with luggage and escorting them to their rooms and relieving receptionist staff during breaks.
Duties are not limited to;
- Rubbish Round
- Pharmacy and Blood Round
- Answer the switchboard as reqired
- On the very rare occasion, you may be asked to cover a night shift (20:00 – 8:00)
Skills and Experience
- Previous Porter experience is essential
- Good Communication skills
- A full and clean UK Driving License desirable
