Job description
- Respond to enquiries from visitors in a courteous and professional manner;
- Movement of furniture and equipment between wards and departments as required;
- Assist any patient or visitor with walking or directional difficulties;
- Transfer patients using beds, stretchers, trolleys and wheelchairs as appropriate;
- Delivering of medical gases to wards and departments, refitting valves/flow meters as necessary;
- Advising pharmacy when gas supplies need to be replaced;
- Collection of rubbish, clinical waste and dirty laundry from wards and departments as required;
- Any other site-specific duties as required by the HSM.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £9.50-£10.51 per hour
