We are seeking a patient focused Hospital Pharmacist to join our dedicated Boots pharmacy teams on a part-time or full-time basis at Bournemouth and Poole Hospital.

This is a great opportunity to further develop your clinical skills working in our hospital out-patient pharmacy, and to work collaboratively with the NHS Trust whilst occasionally spending time in our Boots stores within our community to widen your career portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work within a busy service lead store; you will have the support of a team of experienced ACT's, dispensers and pharmacy advisors, as well as a retail management support team.

This position comes with the opportunity to complete your independent prescribing qualification.

We will also consider newly qualified pharmacists for this position.

Pharmacy Opening Times for This Store are:

Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 2pm
Sunday - Closed
(Flexible working, part-time and full-time hours are always considered)

  • Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)
  • Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise and be widely respected by stakeholders, peers, patients, customers and external local professionals
  • Have a passion for community pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
  • Have a love of working collaboratively with a team-centred approach
  • Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
  • Role model communication skills; you will hold excellent face to face interactions to effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients in pharmacy
