Job description
EM Tuition is a non-profit provider of training and tuition and has historically supported disadvantaged children, whether at school, at home or in private tuition.
We are working alongside Staffordshire County Council, providing support for children and young people with barriers to learning and also provide tuition as part of the National Tutoring Programme with schools.
We are currently looking for a Tutor who has experience of working with children who have Autism and emotional dysregulation. The child is in Year 10 and struggles with mainstream schooling and has been allocated tutoring at home. The role is Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 10.00 to 12.00, with the option of working with more than one child for additional hours, if required.
The ideal candidate would have experience of Autism and be able to work consistently, supporting a child who requires routine, patience and access to a KS3/4 curriculum.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 10 - 25 per week
Salary: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
