Home Energy Advisor (Green Doctor)
Salary: £24,432 to £26,110 pro rata
Term: Part-time or Full-time (22.5 – 37 hours per week)
Location: Essex

Green Doctor is a programme offering home visits / remote support to provide advice, installation of small practical energy-saving measures such as low energy light bulbs and draft proofing and referring on to other health and wellbeing services. We aim to reduce our client’s energy bills and save them money in a variety of ways including providing a bill switching service.

We are looking for a qualified and/or experienced advisor to give energy advice to enable some of the most vulnerable residents to keep warm and manage their energy bills. We now have an opportunity within our team to continue the growth of Groundwork’s award-winning national Green Doctor programme across Essex.

You will have strong communication skills together with a passion for helping vulnerable people. You must have a thorough knowledge of energy efficiency to provide in-home tailored energy & financial information, and the ability to adapt your approach to suit the varying needs of our clients. You will be self-motivated and confident in managing your own workload. Experience of training and working with volunteers is also desirable.

You must be able to travel to attend home visits and Trust offices as required.
