‼?YOU choose what type of contract you would like and have a choice of how you are paid from the following options:
1) A fixed annual salary - have the security of knowing that you will be paid the same every month plus, any overtime or bonuses you are due.
2) Enhanced Hourly Rate - for contact and travel time. This option is often preferred by staff choosing zero or bank hours contracts.

We know this is often a challenge in many settings, but we believe strongly that we only have one chance to get it right so with this in mind our care professionals are allocated achievable visit times and enough paid travel time between clients.

You will:
- work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be committed to working together to make a positive impact on the lives of clients, families and colleagues alike.
- be committed to providing the very best standards of care and support to clients and their families and care which is competent, confident, compassionate and personalised, in line with recognised best practice standards.
- always provide clients with the standard of care and support that you would want for your own Mum / other loved ones.
- have the confident to support clients who are at various stages in their lives and who have a range of care and support needs
- be willing to work in a way that promotes client dignity and respect and that enables the client to continue to do as much as possible for themselves.
- be committed to working in a way that supports clients to meet their desired outcomes.
- be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions in a timely and consistent manner
- be confident to deal with emergencies having first risk assessed the situation and decided the most appropriate course of action that will achieve the best outcome for your clients and your safety.
- by way of an electronic recording system, be able to record and maintain accurate, up to date care records.
- have outstanding communication, time management and self organisational skills.
- be committed to continuous improvement in the way that you and the company works
- be committed to identifying and taking opportunities to improve and develop your own training and knowledge
- have the confidence to challenge poor practices and report concerns
- be willing to make recommendations when identifying better ways of working
- be highly organised with ability to prioritise your own workload.
- Have independent means of travel
For our palliative care and waking night care roles you will also:
- have previous experience of working in a similar UK based setting.
- an interest in providing end of life care and a commitment to helping people to have a good death.
- hold or be willing to work towards at least a level 3 qualification in end of life care.
