Domiciliary (Homecare) Care workers required - Minimum £12.00 per hour to £13.70 per hour plus holiday pay
Plus mileage at 46p per mile
You will require your own transport to travel around and also reside in the following postcodes, DN14 , YO8, YO42 or HU15.
We have work available in the Goole, Howden & surrounding areas - full time/part time, weekdays, weekends, mornings, lunch times, late afternoon through to late evening - or combinations thereof.
We are looking to recruit domiciliary care workers who are predominantly available through Evenings and Weekends who reside near the following areas:
Goole, Howden, Gilberdyke/Newport, Snaith/Rawcliffe/Pollington, Swinefleet, Reedness/Ousefleet and all other villages close to the Goole and Howden area of the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Having the use of a car or transport is an advantage

The Domiciliary Care Workers Role
To provide a flexible and reliable range of services. These services help people cope with all the routine tasks normally associated with everyday life in the community, e.g. assisting with, "get ups", "put to beds", administering medication, meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, shopping, continence care.
Domiciliary Worker Requirements
The role of a domiciliary worker does not require experience as full training to the Care Certificate level will be provided. What we do ask is that you will have the following:
- A caring and considerate nature.
- The ability to understand a person's needs.
- Awareness of the requirement for confidentiality.
- Be non judgemental.
- Literate & numerate.
- Honest & trustworthy.
- Be willing to undertake ALL required training.
- Own transport is desirable.
- The right to work in the UK.

- Live near the Goole/Howden area.
The Domiciliary Workers Package
- Weekday day Rate: 8am to 6pm - £10.50 per hour plus travel (46p/mile)
- Weekday night Rate: 6pm to 8am - £12.00 per hour plus travel (46p/mile)
- Weekend day Rate: 8am to 6pm - £12.00 per hour plus travel (46p/mile)
- Weekend night Rate: 6pm to 8am - £12.50 per hour plus travel (46p/mile)
- Enhanced rates 7am to 8am - £1.00 extra per hour.
- Enhanced rates 10pm to 11pm - £1.00 extra per hour.
- Enhanced rates for Diploma/NVQ level 2 or equivalent - an extra 10p per hour.
- Enhanced rate for 2 years unbroken service - an extra 10p per hour.
- Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays +50% or +100%
- Travelling between towns/villages paid at 46p per mile - including from home to first call and back home from last call, provided you live within the Goole/Howden area.
- 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) per year.
Uniforms and protective equipment (gloves/aprons) are provided free. Staff Induction Training provided and Care Certificate. New staff shadow existing staff mentors until they feel confident. Ongoing and refresher training provided. Dedicated Emergency on Call staff to assist you where necessary.
