Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing care and support to patients
- Help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or doctor
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care or catheter insertion
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients when necessary
