At LLM Homecare Solutions, we are looking to hire passionate and dedicated workers to join our caring family team. The Home Care Support Worker role will involve looking after clients in their own homes in Edinburgh ; providing high quality care to our clients by supporting them in their day-to-day personal care and living tasks and also providing companionship. Immediate start, full training given.
This vacancy is for a placement to a client with a 32 hr package, over 7 days. You will be expected to be available for a minimum 3 shifts in the week, including weekends as required. The right candidate will be placed with this particular client and will have guaranteed hours as this is an ongoing contract.
Job description
- Assisting clients with all aspects of personal care including toileting, cleaning, bathing, dressing, and undressing, whilst ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect of individuals.
- Providing dining experience for the clients, assisting to serve meals, beverages, and encouraging clients requiring additional attentions while having meals.
- Providing activities according with the care plans of the client, particularly the less mobile ones.
- Assisting clients with restricted mobility to move to communal areas or to return to their bedrooms as requested, using the correct moving and handling procedures as per the policy.
- Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks in particular moving and handling of loads and ensuring the policies and procedures are adhered to all the times.
- All other tasks as required to uphold the quality of life of our clients who need support.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 12-32 per week
Salary: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
