We are recruiting to add to our team in the YORK area, working with each service user to place the heart and love back into homecare.
We meticulously sit and create a bespoke personalised care plan for each service user, tailoring it to their wants and needs. Tasks range from personal care, light housework duties, companionship to making that perfect cup of tea to start the day right!
As a Healthcare professional with Hartley Domiciliary Care, you will work with each service user and aid them to continue to live their life in their own home, assisting with their personal needs to help them live their lives to the fullest whilst supporting them to maintain their independence and dignity and whilst being respectful and delivering the very best standards of care. Assisting with their physical and personal needs, you will enhance everyone’s wellbeing and quality of life through your positive approach and supportive caring philosophies.
Full time and part time positions are available for the successful candidate who is passionate about supporting people in their own homes.
Duties include:
- Supporting people to achieve their goals.
- Assisting people with their personal care needs.
- Assisting with making meals and drinks.
- Light cleaning duties.
- Reporting any concerns to the manager onsite.
Previous experience in care is not essential, we offer free ongoing training, starting with a full induction and 'shadow shifts' with an experienced team member.

We Require:
- A caring and attentive individual
- A passion for supporting people
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Two successful references and DBS
- A DBS on the update system is preferred but not necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £11.50-£14.00 per hour

- Home care: 1 year (preferred)
