About the role

We are currently looking for a Sales Support Specialist within our Foodservice Business Unit for the UK & Ireland. The role supports the account managers and ensures that the sales managers are focused on building customers relationships, understanding their needs and building the pipeline.

This is a 6 month contract, the extension will be evaluated according to the contingency factors.

The role can be home based.

What will I be doing?

  • Supporting the Sales team around Foodservice Growth accounts in the UK&IR
  • Direct sales contact and indirect account contact management for defined base of customers.
  • Responsible for utilizing and keeping commercially linked systems and related to the dedicated customers up to date. (SFDC...)
  • Creating opportunities, Sample requests, technical/Regulatory Document requests, quotes, etc in close cooperation with the responsible salespersons as well as opportunity/pipeline management.
  • Ensuring all opportunities and contacts are up to date.
  • Entering price requests (Quotes) in the current system (SFDC) for the defined customer base on behalf of the commercial sales team members. Issuing price offers to customers and follow up to understand if accepted or rejected and document this in the system. Work closely with the Pricing & Finance teams in order to prepare, issue and process annual price letters. Maintain the different Releases of the Pricing Schedule (Annual , Quarterly Pricing)
  • Be the main link to Customer care in Naas, ensuring and sharing full knowledge of key customers issues and take action where necessary.
  • Assist the sales director in analyzing and summarizing business elements helping to act agile based on the correct information.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Previous experience in sales support or customer care roles
  • Any additional language is nice to have
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel & Powerpoint.
  • Strong SAP skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills with a strong focus on execution.
