HOLIDAY CLUB JOBS - LOWESTOFT
Assist in the provision of day to day supervised care for children attending Inspire Holiday Clubs, providing high quality activity sessions which encourage the children’s all-round development. Work with others in ensuring that a continued high standard of care provisions is in place that meet the needs and aspirations of the Charity.
Main responsibilities:
i) Involvement in the design and running of sessions overseeing activities of children ensuring that they are undertaken in a safe and effective manner and that relevant policies and procedures are adhered to;
ii) To establish good working relationships with staff, children and parents. On occasions act as first point of contact for parents to answer or refer enquiries providing accurate and timely responses to enquiries and other routine matters;
iii) To contribute to the planning and preparation of activities including the organisation and clearing of the facility at the end of the session;
iv) To assist in the care, maintenance of resources ensuring any faults or problems are reported;
v) To assist in the serving and clearing away of snacks and packed lunches;
vi) To provide where appropriate basic first aid and record any incidents according to Charity policy and procedures;
vii) To communicate concerns, misbehaviour and information to the Lead Coach;
viii) To ensure children are handed over to parents/carers at the end of the day in accordance with Charity procedure;
ix) Act responsively and within Charity policies taking a positive approach to service delivery;
x) Maintain professional competence and undertake appropriate training as required;
xi) Maintain strict confidentiality at all times;
xii) Adhere to and follow safeguarding procedures at all times;
You will
· Lead/Support our C:oaches to deliver high quality activity sessions throughout each and every camp.
· Ensure every child is enjoying themselves at all times & generate a great atmosphere centred around fun, enjoyment & respect; maintaining high levels of safety throughout.
We are looking for leaders who:
· Have an ability to motivate and inspire children aged 4–14.
· Have experience in coaching or facilitating groups of children.
- Desirable to have a Level 2 sports coaching qualification
· Hold a valid DBS certificate (essential) – you’re able to apply for one through us if necessary.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £11.03 per hour
Work Location: In person
