- Kinetic Science, Claydon IP6 0AJ
- £110 - £130 per day
- 30 days per year
- Permanent
- Reference: 0906
- Required as soon as possible.
The main purpose of this role is to run (or Assist) holiday day camps aimed at children aged 6 - 14 years old. You will be providing a safe and fun environment for children to be left for the day and provide activities to occupy them during their stay. This will be based in Bury St Edmunds and Claydon, near Ipswich.
Ideally, you will have worked with children before and may be looking for a job in the school holidays to enhance a job that you already have. You will be helping to provide a fun-packed programme including arts and crafts, games, outdoor activities, science and creating a youth club vibe. You will be looking after the welfare of the children and so you must be “safety aware” and be willing to learn and deliver a programme to entertain the children. We expect the highest of standards to run or assist in this role to ensure the children are safe and well looked after.
You will be running or assisting (as we are looking to fill both posts) holiday day camps in Bury St Edmunds and Claydon and further afield in the future. There will be training and prep days and you will be delivering this for a minimum of 28 days per annum. The programme will be organised so that you are trained to deliver the activities and you will also be responsible for preparing the food and drink during the day. This is an exciting role for someone who loves working with children and wants to see them excel and have fun.
You will need:
- to be able to drive to locations to work and not be dependent on local transport
- a DBS with no concerns on the certificate.
No formal qualifications are required as we will provide training and courses.
