We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and expert Highly Specialist Dietitian for our Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) Team. The post is part time time at 22.5 hours per week.
The HEN Team consists of Highly Specialist & Specialist HEN dietitians, specialist nurse and assistant practitioners, and is responsible for assessing and directing the dietetic and tube-feeding needs for all patients requiring home enteral feeding across east and west Kent.
The HEN Team is part of a large team of Dietitians within Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics which is committed to staff development and in-house training will be offered to help meet learning needs.

You will have 3 years’ experience as a registered dietitian with 2 years’ experience in nutrition support. In addition, you will have evidence of CPD in areas of nutritional support, with knowledge of, and an interest in, enteral tube feeding and working within the community setting.
You will have good communication skills and the ability to organise and carry out your work independently within different community settings, and will be expected to work independently to a high level within your scope of practice.
You will be able to work effectively and flexibly to ensure your clinical responsibilities are carried out, and you will be responsible for the management of some of the team members. As a Highly Specialist Dietitian you will help to lead change by using Quality Improvement techniques.
Additional Working Pattern: 7.5 hours 3 days 08:30-16:30 Monday - Friday
