At Elis we deliver a complete textile rental and laundry service to all types of activities. We offer everything from clothing to chefware, cloths, entrance mats, mops, bed and bath linen and hygiene equipment to bathrooms. We work with thousands of organisations all over Europe that make our lives possible! We have 36 sites across the UK, from the South-West to Scotland.

Benefits for Class 2 Driver: £14.60 per hour

*Guaranteed 45 hour per week contract available*

We have opportunities for Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers at our Newton Abbot factory to help us provide exceptional services to our national network of customers. What will I do as a Driver at Elis?

· Deliver and collect work to and from one of our laundries, ensuring that our products are delivered accurately and on time to our local and national customers

· Record each customer delivery and collection according to current work instructions (via Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or route manifest as applicable)

· Maintain a high level of health and safety at all times whilst at work, ensuring the safety of all vehicles, property and personnel

· Ensure the safety of any third party while you are in control of an Elis vehicle

· Communicate effectively with our customers, being honest, polite and helpful at all times

· Record and report customer queries using the correct documentation

· Undertake daily and weekly vehicle maintenance checks and cleaning routines

· Wear the provided service agent uniform and ensure it is clean and presentable at all times

What skills and experience do I need to be successful with Elis?

· An up to date professional CPC and a valid licence relevant to the category of vehicle

· Ability to work towards and achieve targets/deadlines

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Good communication skills and initiative

· Demonstrates a good level of Health and Safety awareness

· Proof of right to work in the UK

Please note that this job is of a physical nature delivering and collecting cages of linen, this sometimes may involve some bag work.

You will be expected to pass our in-house driver assessment upon appointment
