Job description
Truck Driver
Duties:
- Operate a variety of trucks, and delivery trucks
- Safely load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods
- Ensure the proper securing and strapping of loads to prevent damage during transit
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on trucks to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
Experience: needed on the HGV driving around London Roads
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience operating roll off trucks, dump trucks, or delivery trucks
- Familiarity with forklift operation and other heavy equipment
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effective
