HGV Driver Apprenticeship

Location - Glasgow

Salary £21,000 raising to £33,000 upon qualification.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an HGV Driver Apprentice based at our Head Office in Mayfield, Dalkeith. This role is perfect for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on experience in the waste management industry.

As an HGV Driver Apprentice, you will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for driving our trade waste van in Edinburgh and the Lothians and building strong relationships with our valued customers.

You will:-

Operate our trade waste van safely and efficiently, ensuring the timely collection and transportation of waste materials.

Foster positive relationships with our customers, addressing their inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction.

Collaborate with our Head Office team to assist with their operational needs, providing crucial support and contributing to a smooth workflow.

Undergo comprehensive theoretical, medical, and practical training as part of the apprenticeship program.

Adhere to all relevant regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.

What we need from you:-

A strong desire to learn and develop a career in the waste management industry.

A valid UK driving license.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Willingness to engage in both practical and theoretical training.
