HGV Delivery Drivers

Location: Craigavon

Rate of pay £34,272 per annum for a 4-day week

Potential to earn £34,772 per annum

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Part-time, permanent positions also available

Hours of work: based on average of 48 working hours per week, 4 days out of 6

Job Summary:

Based from our Coleraine distribution hub, the delivery team ensure that we can offer next-day delivery across the Island of Ireland. As a Lynas Delivery Driver, you will be required to handle, unload and deliver a wide variety of frozen, chilled and ambient products to our customers whilst providing excellent customer service.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service when delivering goods to customers
  • Following a specific route as outlined by the transport department
  • Daily checking of delivery vehicles including fridge and tail lift
  • Adhering to all Health and Safety Regulations
  • Handling delivery dockets, paperwork and cash & completing paperwork correctly
  • Communicating with transport office and the telesales team
  • Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Must be flexible with working hours
  • HGV Class 2/ Category C licence
  • Up-to-date CPC
  • Digi card
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude to work
  • Be able to work using your own initiative
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
