Job description
We are a first-rate road transport and logistics company based Waltham Abbey. We are in partnership with the UK's largest pallet network: TPN and offer palletised freight distribution, same-day deliveries and offer general haulage.
Job Description:
- To manage all jobs in a timely professional way, escalating any issues to the Office.
- Liaise politely and professionally with customers and the office.
- Complete daily vehicle checks
- Attend toolbox talks when required
- Report all accidents or damage, however minor, to the Company immediately.
- Report near misses, unsafe act and unsafe conditions that he/she witnesses immediately.
- Ensure that you have the correct paperwork, equipment and information for the start of your shift
- Drive within the law and site rules and keep within working time/driving regulations for drivers taking the correct rest breaks
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
- Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
Skills and Qualifications:

- Full current HGV class 2 Driving license & Driver CPC
