Mark Thompson Transport are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 PM Trampers to join our team in Warrington.

You will be responsible for delivering and loading goods to customers at various locations throughout Scotland, there will be loading utilising an FLT that will be required by the driver whilst adhering to all legal and safety requirements.

Knowledge and experience required:

• Hold an LGV C+E licence with an up to date CPC qualification
• Good working knowledge of EU drivers hours and regulations
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
• Minimum 2 years class 1 driving experience in the UK
• No more than 6 points and no live major endorsements (DR10)

Job duties:

• Immediate starts
• To complete customer deliveries and backloads
• FLT licence is desirable but full training will be given
• Loading and unloading using FLT at customer sites
• Delivering customer orders safely and efficiently
• Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and any defects reported
• Responsible for keeping the transport department updated of any issues
• Have a can do attitude
• Be customer focused to ensure the best service is delivered

Rates of pay / Shift patterns:

Earning potential of up to £45,0000 per annum.

• £33,800 p.a basic
• Additional 6th shift will be paid at £180 per shift, plus additional night out at £26 plus additional £20 performance related bonus
• Nights out expense will be paid at £26 per night out (Guaranteed £104 p.w tax free)
• £100 Per week performance related bonus paid weekly (£20 per shift)
• Weekly or Monthly pay
• Permanent contract issued on day one

• Holiday pay – 28 days for drivers on a 5 day shift pattern – including bank holidays
