Are you an HGV driver fed up of not knowing when you’re working next, or when your work will die down? If you answered yes, then look no further - XPO Logistics are recruiting! We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Shunt Driver to join us based from our site in Melmerby near Ripon.

You’ll be working as a Yard Shunter on site working from 1530 to 0030, Monday to Friday. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive salary of £34,485. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• 
  You’ll be performing trailer movements in our busy regional yard
• You will be driving a tractor unit – no tugs are used on this site
• You will periodically drive Tractors and Trailers to VMU’s for regular maintenance – so you must be happy to also drive on roads

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• 
  LGV / HGV C+E/Class 1 Entitlement on your licence
• No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present
• CPC and Digital Tacho card
