HGV Class 1 Operative – Port Talbot

We are seeking a confident HGV Class 1 operator to join our growing team to support our on-site infrastructure services at Tata Steel, Port Talbot. The role is full time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
In this role you will provide a variety of essential site services utilising a range of Class 1 and Class 2 HGV's including operation of low loaders, flat beds, vacuum tankers, jetting units, road sweepers and gritters.

- Broad experience of HGV operations including articulated flat bed, low loader and tanker work, rigid tanker, jetter/vacuum unit or experience of similar assets.
- Flexible approach with willingness to work on a variety of different tasks.
- Knowledge of load security principles.
Qualifications required:
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid HGV Class 1 C&E or site licence with demonstrable experience.
- Maximum of 6 points on licence for insurance purposes.
- CCNSG Qualification.
Package:
- Basic 8-hour shift pattern, Monday to Friday with overtime in line with customer demands.
- Auto enrolled into company pension scheme.
- Uniform and PPE provided.
The successful candidate will be subject to our induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing
