Job description
A&F Transport NW LTD are currently looking for Class 1 HGV Drivers.
Mostly working Night shift.
Duties will include -
- ︎As a class 1 driver you will be dropping reloading between various Amazon depots.
- ︎You will be expected to interact in a positive and professional manner and value customer service.
- ︎As a busy 24-hour operation, working time will vary week on week so flexibility will be required.
- ︎Will have a desire to work predominantly Afternoon, weekends and night shifts.
Requirements:
- ︎Drivers should have FULL Class 1 licence, DIGI card and full drivers CPC with no points in last 5 years on the licence.
- ︎Recent relevant experience is preferable and drivers must be reliable and hardworking.
- ︎Understand and comply to tachograph and drivers hours regulations.
- ︎Minimum of 12 months UK Driving tims preferred.
- ︎England language is required.
- ︎Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on any off the road.
- ︎Ensuring your complete daily vehicle checks to make sure that the vehicle is roadworthy and safe.
- ︎Following all company procedures, customer procedures and adhering to DVSA and Highway Codes.

- Excellent verbal and written English and Numeracy.·
- An excellent customer facing and communicational skills.·
- Excellent time-keeping skills·
- Ability to fill out necessary paperwork efficiently and correctly Applicants must have a valid CPC card, Digi card and ideally at least two years of commercial driving experience (6 months on UK roads)No more than 6 points.
- Applicants with DR, DD and IN offences will not be considered for this role.
