Position Development Officer (Business Energy Scotland)
Location Remote First - principally home based with some travel within the Strathclyde & Central area to deliver face to face advice and support - therefore a driving licence is essential
Salary £26,640 + excellent benefits
Hours 35 hours per week (flexible working)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Business Energy Scotland (BES) team as a Development Officer. You will be responsible for delivering BES services locally, providing impartial advice and support to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Scotland install energy-efficient, low-carbon heat and renewables technologies to realise carbon, cost, and energy savings.
This project is delivered by the Wise Group as part of our Home Energy Scotland advice centre. BES is funded by the Scottish Government to provide free, impartial support and access to funding to help SMEs save energy, carbon, and money.
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of energy efficiency opportunities within organisations, as well as the ability to network and build relationships. You will have a proven track record of achieving targets with the ability to influence organisations to implement change.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Wise Group’s Home Energy Scotland advice centre team and with the BES team at Energy Savings Trust.
