Our friendly team is growing as we prepare to lead the service across the Mercia district for the programme’s Year 5 of delivery. We are looking for Telephone and Webchat Advisers with a confident telephone manner and good exploratory and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to the aims and principles of Citizens Advice. The service supports first-time Universal Credit claimants with ‘better-off’ benefit calculations and practical advice, helping claimants up to their first correct benefit payment. You will give advice via incoming calls and webchat for up to 6 client contacts per day using our telephony and dual webchat channels. You’ll be computer literate and experienced at working independently in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for candidates with some knowledge of delivering Citizens Advice Help to Claim services to undertake this role, although training is available for candidates that demonstrate potential. We offer hybrid or fully home-based working.

The closing date is February 23. Interviews are held via Teams. Please tell us if you require alternative interview media or face to face. We reserve the right to close the application window early. We are only able to provide feedback to candidates that have attended our interview and assessment.

Please include a covering letter detailing why you would be suitable for this role and your potential availability, and a CV to [email protected] - contact us on this email if you wish to discuss the role.
