WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
As part of the IT team and reporting to the System Administrator, the IT Technical Support installs and configures workstations, computer software, IP phones and must also resolve any problems that may arise with them. The position also ensures the integrity of various types of servers and equipment by monitoring their proper functioning.
- Providing end-user support, resolving technical issues and providing technical assistance for all operating systems and applications
- Providing in-person and remote support through use of the telephone or remote access
- Providing new employees with required hardware and appropriate access to the company’s computer systems
- Ensuring the integrity and reliability of computer systems in a Windows environment.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software.
- Resolving network issues.
- Deploy and maintain the video surveillance system and other IoT devices.
- Monitor and maintain inventory level for all IT assets.
- Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
- Testing and evaluating new technologies.
WHO YOU ARE?
- DEC in computer science with an option in network management.
- Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and network configuration.
- Good ability to solve various problems.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Resourcefulness and initiative.
- Demonstrate discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
