Position Summary:
As a IT Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our end users with managing and utilizing their IT hardware and processes. Reporting to your IT Lead, a successful candidate will be able to deliver results by effectively building relationships, collaborating, and driving change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Whether managing up or managing down, you understand the human element of managing IT hardware and the human element using it. You will exhibit empathy for different internal and external stakeholders with the ability to balance conflicting needs from different teams and work well with leaders and contributors from other disciplines.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the workflow and engage escalated jobs within the internal IT Help Desk backlog
- Ensure timely Help Desk problem resolution and review solutions for improvements in diagnostic procedures and outcomes
- Engage team members and stakeholders to automate manual procedures wherever possible in order to optimize productivity
- Adheres to and supports organizational standards, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities/Experience & Qualifications:
- Technical troubleshooting knowledge and background
- Strong problem solving and communication skills required
- Powershell or Python scripting familiarity
- Exposure to either Azure or AWS cloud
Preferred experience with:
- Azure Active Directory management
- Office 365 enterprise platform management
- IT Help Desk management experience
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Requires prolonged sitting, standing, or walking some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 15 pounds occasionally. Work may be performed inside the hospital or remote site. Work may be stressful at times. Must be an effective communicator with strong problem resolution abilities. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations. Travel to other Invicta Health Solutions Division offices and/or client facilities may be required.
