SUMMARY:
At MachiningCloud.com we are building the next generation cloud platform and products to revolutionize the manufacturing industry. We are looking for someone eager to take on new challenges. Your communication skills, ability to multi-task and ability to problem solve will be needed to support our growing organization. Your duties will include desktop and handheld device support as well as managing, improving, and administering our IT infrastructure. You should be familiar with new technologies and cybersecurity requirements. The position will be based primarily on-site in Camarillo, California. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate time management and ability to maintain and execute a list of tasks with minimal supervision
- Ensure that service requests are properly logged, assigned, and responded to in a timely manner
- Provide professional desktop support and expertise within everyday IT operational tasks
- Maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate records of assets and licenses
- Collaborate with international teams worldwide
- Maintain and administer our current Infrastructure
- Protect our company from on-going online security threats
- Provide professional help and expertise in everyday IT operational tasks
- Research suitable software or hardware trends that will help grow our business
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of technical support experience with desktops or servers or equivalent education
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktops and servers, Microsoft 365 administration
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Demonstrated success working in a small, multi-national, innovative, and creative team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
- Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent
- One year of experience with system and network administration
- One year of experience with Windows servers and its administration tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sit for long periods
- Speak and hear, both in person and electronically.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and move computers / servers / devices from one room to another
- Must have a valid driver’s license for occasional travel if needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
