Job description
Lalor Family Dental is a growing, multi-office dental practice bringing over 50 years of experience in the dental field. Looking for career-focused individuals with positive attitudes and customer service centered mindset.
Responsibilities for the IT Level 2 Helpdesk Support include the following:
- Responsible for the timely analysis, resolution and communication of IT related helpdesk tickets
- Handle the more complex issues that a Level 1 support specialist is unable to resolve
- Hands-on work and travel to/from dental offices in supporting all IT issues
- Address and solve network and back-end system issues, including more difficult hardware problems
- Troubleshoot and fix server issues
- Navigate Active Directory and Group Policy, and automate workflows with the server
- Solve Microsoft 365 issues
- Update OS and drivers
- Communicate with doctors, clinical staff, IT team, and management in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow-up with tickets and find a prompt resolution of the relevant issue.
- Handle complex issues that level 1 specialist is unable to resolve.
- Solve backend and network issues.
- Solve complex problems.
- Fixing difficult hardware problems.
- Helping with server issues according to the level of expertise set by the higher-level techs.
- Basic Microsoft 365 issues.
- Install and uninstall applications that level one can not attend to.
- Update OS and drivers.
- CompTIA A+ and Network + would be preferable
- Research and the work on resolving the more complex issue that level one can not handle.

Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
- Minimum of three years IT experience in the field
- Technical certificate in CompTIA A+ and Network + preferred
