Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate technical help to end users, using various communication channels (phone, email, teams or in person.) With issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Diagnose hardware and software problems with the aim to identify root causes and deliver an effective solution. Escalate issues to external providers where needed and follow up until resolved.
- Maintain an accurate asset tracker for all equipment issued. Regularly conducting check to ensure correct use of equipment.
- Handle user account creations, modifications and password resets and account deletion.
- Provide remote support using TeamViewer for staff working at home or other offices.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure a smooth process for new starters and leavers. Ensuring that equipment is ready for day one.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends, best practices and industry standards related to IT. Suggest improvements to existing processes and workflows to improve customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- Support the ICT & Data Analyst on any tasks required.
- Highschool qualification or equivalent (Essential)
- Knowledge of Windows 10, office 365 and SharePoint (Essential)
- Experience managing user accounts (Desirable)
- ICT Qualification or relevant experience (Essential)
- Experience of working in a busy administration role (Desirable)
- Experience of working in an IT environment (Essential)
- Experience of working with confidential information (Desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to create and implement and improve administrative systems. (Desirable)
- Excellent customer service skills (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills (Essential)
- Ability to develop and maintain clear record keeping systems, including basic databases (Desirable)
