This role will be based in community setting supporting adults who have complex health needs requiring a high level of care and support

We are looking for Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers who have a proven track record of complex care experience and have supported clients who have suffered spinal injury with skills such as:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) including feeding.
  • Ventilation management
  • Oral suctioning
  • Bowel management
  • Nebuliser (NEB)
  • Medications

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2 year or more experience as a Healthcare Assistant with complex care experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 related subjects.
  • NVQ Level 4 related subjects.
  • Nursery nurse qualifications or similar.
  • Diploma in relevant health/ social subject.
  • Commitment to delivering client specific care.
  • Adaptable and Professional approach to support client and family members.
