Senior Healthcare Support Worker – Medical Ward (Ref: 152176)
Substantive
Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Band 3 - Salary range £25,468 - £27,486 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,256 per annum
Are you a Healthcare Support Worker or Nursing/Care Assistant looking for a new challenge and development opportunity? Ward 3 is a busy acute medical ward - we strive to give patients an excellent standard of care in an extremely busy environment that is both challenging and rewarding. You will learn many new skills and enable patients to have the best possible standard of care. We can be flexible agreeing part-time working hours for the right candidate.
You will need to be educated to SVQ2 level in healthcare or have equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role including delivering personal care to patients. Effective written and verbal communication skills, numeracy and an interest in developing your healthcare knowledge are also essential.
This fixed term aspect of this advert is for a fixed-term for one year. The reason for the fixed-term contract is external funding. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
